We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing you with a tool to help clean and manage your Gmail inbox in a privacy-first manner. This policy explains how Clear Mail collects, uses, and protects your information when you use it.
The extension is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or process any of your personal email data from your Gmail account. Clear Mail works completely on your local machine, eliminating risks of data leakage.
The only data we collect:
Your email and name are used solely for registration and are never sold to third parties.
Local Processing: Clear Mail analyzes email metadata strictly on your
device.
No Transmission: None of this information is sent to our servers or any third-party.
All data processing to clean your inbox is executed locally within your browser. We do not use your information for advertising or analytics.
Since processing occurs locally and no email data is stored on our servers, the risk of breaches is minimized. Any collected data is transmitted over strong encryption (TLS).
Clear Mail does not integrate with third-party analytics or advertising services. Any included libraries are used solely for technical functionality.
We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
