Welcome to Clear Mail for Gmail (“Clear Mail”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These
Terms of
Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our email management service designed to help users clean and
organise their Gmail inboxes (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you (“you”, “user”, or “customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to
these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
Clear Mail for Gmail is a browser extension that connects with your Gmail account to
analyse, organise, and clean your Gmail inbox.
2. User Data & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your
information. We do not store the content of your emails on our servers. All your email data is processed locally
and securely, ensuring complete privacy of your data.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes,
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers,
- Bypass or breach any security device or protection used for or contained in the Service, including attempts to circumvent the restrictions placed on the Service by us,
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service other than expressly permitted,
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or systems,
- Attempt to copy, modify, duplicate, create derivative works from, frame, mirror, republish, download, display,
transmit, or distribute all or any portion of the Service, the underlying software and/or Documentation in any
form or media or by any other means,
- Attempt to reverse compile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise reduce to human-perceivable form all or
any part of the software underlying the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these
Terms.
4. Pricing Policies
Clear Mail offers both free and paid subscription plans.
Free Plan:
- Limited features and usage
- May include usage caps or restricted access
Paid Plans:
- Monthly or annual subscription pricing
- Pricing tiers for unlimited use of underlying features
Billing & Payment:
- All charges are processed via a third-party payment provider - Dodo payments, who is our Merchant of Record
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the end of the billing cycle
- You may cancel at any time via the Settings page
Refund Policy:
- Currently, we don't offer refunds for our Monthly subscription. You may cancel anytime. However, cancellations
will not result in a refund of any pre-paid fees. The service will remain active until the end of the current
billing cycle, at which point it will not renew.
- For our Annual subscription, we offer partial refunds within 30 days from the date of purchase. We will deduct
the first month charge and refund the rest of the amount. For eg. If user paid $60 for the Yearly plan and asks
us for a refund within the first month, we will refund $54 after deducting $6 for the first month charge.
Pricing Changes:
We may modify pricing and service plans and will give you prior notice. If you do not
agree to the new prices, you must cancel your subscription before the new billing period begins.
5. Termination:
You may stop using Clear Mail at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or
terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, you will lose access to the Service, and any data associated with
your account may be deleted.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties:
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that it will
be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or
implied.
7. Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clear Mail shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits,
- Unauthorized access to or use of your Gmail account.
8. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. We’ll notify users via email or in-app
notifications when material changes occur. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new
Terms.
